The Pupil Premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and other students.
At Tupton Hall we use Pupil Premium funding in many different ways to improve the achievement of disadvantaged students. There are some specific intervention programmes to assist students with their work, there is the ability to have some funding to support purchases of equipment, revision guides and or pay for educational trips. We are always looking at new ways to use this money and evaluate its spending each year.
